កុមារ សិទ្ធ ជីវន្ត័ កើតនៅថ្ងៃទី ៣១ ខែ តុលា ឆ្នាំ២០១៦ កុមារបានចូលមកស្នាក់នៅក្នុងមណ្ឌលគាំពារកុមារសៀមរាបនៅថ្ងៃទី ១០ ខែ តុលា ឆ្នាំ២០២៤។ នៅថ្ងៃទី១៩ ខែ មិថុនា ឆ្នាំ២០២៥ កុមារ សិទ្ធ ជីវន្ត័ បានលេងប្រលែងគ្នាជាមួយមិត្តភក្តិនៅក្នុងថ្នាក់រៀន ពួកគេទាំងពីរបានច្រានគ្នាទៅវិញទៅមក ហើយមិត្តរបស់គាត់ឈ្មោះ រស្មី បេឡា បានយកខ្មៅដៃដែលទើបនឹងខួងហើយមកចាក់ភ្នែកជីវន្ត័តែម្តង។ កុមារជីវន្ត័បានប្រាប់អ្នកគ្រូប្រចាំថ្នាក់ ហើយអ្នកគ្រូបានយកក្រដាសជូតភ្នែកអោយជីវន្ត័ ណាមួយដល់ម៉ោងទៅផ្ទះតែម្តងហើយក៏រៀបចំទៅផ្ទះ។
ពេលមកដល់មណ្ឌលកុមារមានអាការៈឈឺភ្នែកយ៉ាងខ្លាំង បើកភ្នែកមិនរួច លុះព្រឹកឡើងថ្ងៃទី ២០ ខែ មិថុនា ឆ្នាំ២០២៥ អ្នកថែទាំបានយកកុមារទៅមន្ទីរពេទ្យកុមារអង្គរដើម្បីពិនិត្យភ្នែក ក្រោយពិនិត្យរួចគ្រូពេទ្យប្រាប់ថា កុមារប៉ះពាល់សរសៃរភ្នែកត្រូវតែវៈកាត់ និងដេរអោយជាប់វិញ។ បន្ទាប់ពីបានដេរភ្នែករួចរាល់ហើយ កុមារបានត្រលប់មកមណ្ឌលវិញ អ្នកថែទាំតែងតែបន្តក់ថ្នាំភ្នែកអោយកុមារជាទៀងទាត់តាមពេលវេលាដែលគ្រូពេទ្យណែនាំ និងបានយកកុមារទៅពិនិត្យភ្នែកជាទៀងទាត់តាមការណាត់ជួបរបស់គ្រូពេទ្យ។
នៅថ្ងៃទី ១១ ខែ សីហា ឆ្នាំ ២០២៥ អ្នកថែទាំបានយកកុមារទៅពិនិត្យភ្នែកនិងស្រាយថ្នេរ។ អំឡុងពេលនៅក្នុងមណ្ឌលកុមារតែងតែរពឹស នៅមិនស្ងៀម និងមិនស្តាប់ការណែនាំរបស់គ្រូពេទ្យ កុមារតែងតែយកដៃដែលមិនស្អាតទៅញីភ្នែកពេលដែលរមាស់ ធ្វើអោយភ្នែកមានអាការៈឡើងហើមក្រហម និងឈឺឡើងវិញ។
នៅថ្ងៃទី១៨ ខែ សីហា ឆ្នាំ២០២៥ អ្នកថែទាំបានយកកុមារទៅពិនិត្យភ្នែកម្តងទៀត ពេលទៅដល់ពេទ្យ គ្រូពេទ្យបានអោយកុមារសម្រាកនៅមន្ទីរពេទ្យតែម្តងរហូតទាល់តែកុមារជាទើបអោយចេញ ដោយសារគ្រូពេទ្យបារម្ភខ្លាចពេលកុមារមកដល់មណ្ឌលវិញលេងប៉ះភ្នែក នឹងធ្វើអោយការព្យាបាលចំណាយពេលយូរ ដោយសារកុមារត្រូវសម្រាក់ព្យាបាលយូរថ្ងៃទើបបុគ្គលិកសង្គមសម្របសម្រួលអោយឪពុករបស់កុមារទៅជួយថែទាំ រហូតដល់ថ្ងៃទី០៥ ខែ កញ្ញា ឆ្នាំ២០២៥ កុមារបានចេញពីមន្ទីរពេទ្យត្រលប់មកមណ្ឌលវិញ ថ្លៃចំណាយលើអាហារ និងថ្លៃធ្វើដំណើរសម្រាប់ឪពុករបស់កុមារ គឺ មណ្ឌលគ្រួសារថ្មីជាអ្នករ៉ាប់រង។
នៅថ្ងៃទី៣០ ខែ កញ្ញា ឆ្នាំ២០២៥ កុមារត្រូវទៅពិនិត្យ និងតាមដានភ្នែកតាមការណាត់ជួបរបស់គ្រូពេទ្យ ពេលនេះស្ថានភាពភ្នែករបស់កុមារបានល្អប្រសើរ និងភ្នែករបស់កុមារអាចមើលឃើញវិញបាន៨០% តែទោះជាយ៉ាងណាក៏ដោយទាំងលោកគ្រូពេទ្យ និងមណ្ឌលបន្តតាមដាន និងយកចិត្តទុកដាក់ជាទីបំផុត។ នៅថ្ងៃទី២១ ខែ តុលា ឆ្នាំ២០២៥ បុគ្គលិកបានយកកុមារទៅពិនិត្យភ្នែកតាមការណាត់របស់លោកគ្រូពេទ្យ ដោយលទ្ធផលបានបញ្ចក់ថាភ្នែកកុមារបានជាស្បះស្បើយ ប៉ុន្តែការមើលឃើញមានការខ្សោយចុះ២០%។ នៅថ្ងៃទី២២ ខែ មករា ឆ្នាំ២០២៦ គ្រូពេទ្យបានបន្តការណាត់ជួបម្ដងទៀតដើម្បីតាមដាន និងពិនិត្យ ហើយបញ្ជាក់ថា ភ្នែករបស់កុមារបានជាសះស្បើយ និងប្រើប្រាស់វិញបានជាធម្មតា ។ អំឡុងពេលមើលថែកុមារ បុគ្គលិកអង្គការគ្រួសារថ្មី មានការយកចិត្តទុកដាក់យ៉ាងខ្លាំងចំពោះកុមារ ព្រោះភ្នែកពិតជាសំខាន់ណាស់ ប្រសិនបើមិនមានការមើលថែទាំបានល្អ ភ្នែករបស់កុមារអាចនឹងប្រឈមហានិភ័យខ្លាំង។ បុគ្គលិកអង្គការគ្រួសារថ្មីបានផ្ដល់ការប្រឹក្សាយោបល់ គាំទ្រ លើកទឹកចិត្ត ជាទៀងទាត់។ ជាពិសេសការលើកទឹកចិត្តពីថ្នាក់ដឹកនាំ ប្រធាន និងក្រុមការងារ ដែលមានការព្រួយបារម្មណ៍ខ្លាំងទៅលើស្ថានភាពជំងឺរបស់កុមារ។

Sidh Jeevontha was born on 31 October 2016 and was admitted to Siem Reap Long-term Protection Center on 10 October 2024.
On 19 June 2025, during class time, Jeevontha was playing with his classmate, Rosmey Bela. While pushing each other playfully, Bela accidentally poked Jeevontha’s eye with a freshly sharpened pencil. Jeevontha immediately informed his teacher, who provided initial first aid by wiping his eye and then allowed him to return home at the end of the day.
Upon arrival at the Center, the child was in significant pain and unable to open his eye. The following morning, on 20 June 2025, the caregiver took him to Angkor Children’s Hospital for examination. After assessment, the doctor confirmed that the child had sustained damage to the corneal tissue and required urgent surgery to stitch the wound.
The procedure was completed successfully, and Jeevontha returned to the Center. Caregivers consistently administered the prescribed eye medication and ensured that he attended all scheduled follow-up appointments.
On 11 August 2025, the caregiver brought him back to the hospital for review and removal of the stitches. However, during his recovery at the Center, Jeevontha remained very active, restless, and often struggled to follow medical instructions. He frequently rubbed his eyes with unclean hands when they felt itchy, causing redness, swelling, and recurring pain.
On 18 August 2025, due to concerns about re-infection and slow healing, the caregiver took him for another medical consultation. Given the situation, the doctor immediately admitted the child for inpatient care to prevent further self-inflicted irritation and to ensure proper healing. Because the recovery period required long-term rest and close monitoring, the social worker coordinated with the child’s father to stay at the hospital and assist with his care. Jeevontha was discharged on 5 September 2025 and returned to the Center. All costs related to meals and transportation of his father were covered by Krousar Thmey Siem Reap Center.
On 30 September 2025, the child attended a scheduled follow-up appointment. The doctor confirmed significant improvement: his vision had recovered to approximately 80%. Both the medical team and the Center continued close monitoring.
On 21 October 2025, another follow-up visit took place. The doctor confirmed that the wound had fully healed; however, the affected eye showed a permanent 20% decrease in visual capacity.
A final follow-up appointment was scheduled for 22 January 2026 to ensure full recovery and assess long-term eye function.
Throughout the process, Center staff demonstrated high levels of care and vigilance. Eye injuries pose serious risks, and without proper monitoring, the child might have faced severe long-term consequences. Staff also provided ongoing emotional support, encouragement, and counselling. The leadership team expressed strong concern and closely followed the child’s condition throughout the recovery.
